Getting Started

New to Simple Click Tracker? Follow these steps to publish and test your first tracked link.

Glossary: Plain-English Terms

What words like path, DNS, unique click, conversion pixel, and weight actually mean.

Core Features

Links and Link Types

Which link type to choose, what every option does, and how split tests and rotators work.

Broken Link Monitoring

How daily destination checks work, when a link is marked broken, and what each problem means.

Tracking Conversions and Sales

Count sales and sign-ups from your links and split tests, even when checkout happens on another website or an affiliate network reports them by postback.

Using Your Own Domain

Already have a website on that domain? Do not point DNS at SCT — use WordPress SCT Connect or the standalone script. New domain or dedicated subdomain? Just point DNS at us.

Groups

Label and filter related links, merge duplicates, and stay organized as your list grows.

Analytics and Reports

What every number on the Dashboard means, how long click history is kept, and how to tell a real change from normal noise.

Data Management

Imports and Exports

Bring links in from CSV, the old WordPress plugin, Pretty Links, Bitly, or ClickMagick, and download backups.

Security and Logs

Block unwanted traffic, rescue mistyped links using the 404 log, check affiliate postbacks, and see what changed and when.

Account

Account, Billing, and API Keys

Your profile and time zone, password and two-factor login, plans and payment, email notifications, and connecting WordPress, Zapier, or an AI assistant.

Zapier

Connect SCT Pro to Zapier: keys, triggers, actions, and the manual-winner question.

Team Collaboration

Invite admins and editors, switch accounts, and understand paid-owner access rules.

Messages and Announcements

Where announcements appear, how to close them, and how to find older messages.

Troubleshooting Common Problems

Link not working, clicks missing, imports skipping rows, sign-in trouble, and other quick fixes.
